Our concert will be shown on TV in Romania

March 23rd, 2007

Rich spoke with Pastor Radu on line two days ago, and he said that a Bucharest Christian TV station will be broadcasting our Saturday night concert all over Romania!  They want to get our crusade out to all of the people who can’t make it.  This will be advertised on TV from now until that Saturday!

This is very exciting, as we will now be reaching tens of thousands of people rather than just hundreds!  The TV station will be encouraging their Christian viewers, who will be unable to go to the concerts, to invite unsaved people into their homes to watch it on TV!! More information about the radio station can be found here: http://www.credotelevision.org/english_main.php

Romania 2007 - 7 days away

March 20th, 2007

We are a short 7 days from our trip to Bucharest, Romania for the GGQ Bucharest Crusade 2007. Glory Gates Quartet has been practicing for months for this trip, and because of this, we are very prepared. Just this past monday night, we practiced through two of the four concerts to make sure that we had all the music ready. Next monday, we will have a short practice to verify the balance of the music that will be sung during the final 2 concerts.

We also had a meeting last Sunday night to go throught the checklist of all the things that must be remembered prior to a trip of this magnitude. Everything from getting to & from the airport, to discussing food schedules. I am sure that we are ready. We pray that the people of Budapest will be ready for the Gospel message that will be presented.

I received a message from Pastor Al Wilsey that he was excited about the trip. He left from Chicago today, and will be traveling through Europe this next week. Al and Roberta will be meeting us at 3:30 in the Budapest airport next Thursday afternoon.

Continue to keep us in your prayers.
